Inauguration of the Prof. Dov Chernichovsky Auditorium at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev

We were excited to participate this month in the inauguration of the Prof. Dov Chernichovsky Auditorium at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev. The ceremony was led by Prof. Nadav Davidovitch, Chair of the Health Policy Program at the Taub Center and Director of the School for Public Health at Ben Gurion University of the Negev. Attending the ceremony was Suzie Patt-Benvenisti, the former Executive Director of the Taub Center. The speakers recalled working closely with Dov, and Prof. Avi Weiss, the President of the Taub Center, described Dov as a professional and a colleague, and spoke about the important part he played in the establishment of the Taub Center and in shaping its character. The unveiling of the plaque at the entrance to the auditorium was a moving moment for all of those present.
