Dr. Labib Shami lectured before economics students at the University of California, San Diego as part of the Taub Center’s activities for the public in Israel and abroad. His lecture was to 60 students in their third year of undergraduate studies. He talked about the Israel economy and presented from his chapter in the annual State of the Nation Report on Macroeconomic Trends in Israel: An Overview. Dr. Shami said: “The students were very interested and asked excellent questions.”
