Prof. Avi Weiss, President of the Taub Center, Prof. Nadav Davidovitch, Taub Center Health Policy Program Chair, and Prof. Alex Weinreb, Taub Center Research Director, met with Prof. Salman Zarka, Head of ‘Magen Israel’ (Chief COVID-19 Officer). The meeting centered on findings from the annual State of the Nation Report 2021, with a focus on medical manpower and the shortage of medical and nursing professionals as well as a discussion of the gaps between the periphery and the geographic center of the country. The meeting was very successful and the participants expressed their desire to continue the discussion on these important subjects.
