This month Taub Center President Prof. Avi Weiss met with the Minister of Culture and Sport, MK Miki Zohar (Likud), and presented the Taub Center to him including our activities in different areas. In addition, Prof. Weiss and Chairs of the Taub Center Economics Policy Program, Demography Area, and Welfare Policy Program – Professors Benjamin Bental, Alex Weinreb, and John Gal, respectively, met with MK Naama Lazimi (Labor). They discussed changes and major trends in the Israeli economy, demography, and among various subpopulations, as well as the food voucher program that was run by the Ministry of the Interior.
