The Taub Center recently held its first lecture at the University of Connecticut as part of a planned series of University-based lectures. The discussion on the Covid-19 pandemic in Israel moderated by UConn’s Chair of Jewish Studies Professor Avinoam Patt featured Taub Center President Professor Avi Weiss, Taub Center Director General Suzie Patt Benvenisti, and Professor Nadav Davidovitch, Chair of the Taub Center Health Policy Program. The speakers presented data on Covid-19 infection and the response to the pandemic in Israel to an audience of lecturers and students from the university. The lecture attracted a great deal of interest, and we hope that this will be the beginning of collaboration between the Taub Center and universities in the US and around the world. If you would like to host the Taub Center on your campus or in your community, please contact Casey Girard.
