A Picture of the Nation 2022

It is our honor and pleasure to present the 2022 version of A Picture of the Nation. While the 2020 and 2021 editions naturally focused mainly on the effects of COVID-19, this year’s booklet is much more of a mixed bag — the macro-economic trends and labor sections are very pandemic heavy, describing what has transpired since March 2020, but the rest of the sections concentrate largely on more general issues. As usual, we present the situation and trends in each of the main areas researched by the Center — macroeconomic policy, labor markets, health, demography, welfare, and education. In addition, we present five Spotlights with some of the most interesting and important findings from new studies we published during the last year
