Labib Shami
Senior ResearcherLabib Shami is a senior researcher at the Taub Center, a staff member in the Department of Economics at Western Galilee College and a lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Haifa. He holds a doctoral degree in Economics from the University of Haifa. His research interests lie in the area of macroeconomics, monetary policy and non-observed economies. Labib has published two Guide-Books: “Fundamentals of Economics” for finance students, 2018 (in Hebrew) and “Introduction to Statistics” for finance students, Michlala Leminhal Press, 2015 (in Hebrew).
Labib lives with his wife, also an economist, and their two children – Emily and Leon Camal.
