Michael Debowy

Michael Debowy is a researcher at Taub Center for Social Policy Studies. He graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University with a Bachelor’s in Economics, and is currently pursuing his Phd at Ben-Gurion University. His previous academic research focused on the impact of cultural and social institutions on macroeconomic growth, while his current work investigates the aggregate impact of microeconomic imperfections on countries’ wealth. Before joining Taub Center, Michael was an analyst in the private sector.
