Blass, a leading researcher in the field of education for over 40 years, has published dozens of education studies over the years. His research focuses on issues such as inequality in education, education budgeting, teacher quality, Israeli student achievements, classroom size and more. He regularly meets with policymakers at all levels and presents the findings of his research in order to help them formulate policies that will benefit Israeli students and education professionals. Blass will assume the role from Professor Yossi Shavit, who was recently appointed to lead the new Taub Center Initiative on Early Childhood Development and Inequality.<\/p>\n
