A Presentation to The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore

In honor of International Women’s Day, the Taub Center’s Director General Suzie Patt Benvenisti and Chief Financial and Operating Officer Liora Bowers presented to The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore in partnership with “Erev Yisraeli,” a gathering combining Jewish traditions and Israeli culture, and Bowers was a panelist in a virtual panel hosted by BNJC (Brighton & Hove Jewish Community), based in the UK.

While discussing her research on the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on women in Israel’s workforce, Bowers stated, “During the first two lockdowns, in 18 of Israel’s 19 industries, the share of women among those who lost jobs was higher than their share in that industry.”
