Avi Weiss held a series of meetings with the Chair of the Knesset Finance Committee, MK Alex Kushnir

The Chair of the Knesset Finance Committee, MK Alex Kushnir (Yisrael Beitenu), met with Taub Center President Prof. Avi Weiss on two occasions in the course of June. The meetings dealt with high prices in Israel, and the importance of opening Israeli markets to imports in order to lower prices and increase competition. In addition to the discussions, MK Kushnir invited Prof. Weiss to deliver opening remarks at a Knesset conference in July dealing with monopolies of consumer goods in the market place.
