In a meeting with the delegation from the UJA Federation of New York to Israel, Dr. Sarit Silverman, a researcher at the Taub Center, presented the Initiative’s new findings. She explained that the period of early childhood is critical in a child’s development because during this time the human brain is more open to environmental influences than during any other period in life. Daniella Ben Attar, Bernard van Leer’s representative in Israel, presented an overview of the foundation’s early childhood projects in Israel.
