John Gal participated in a conference for the launching of the Social Work Lobby in the Knesset

Prof. John Gal, Chair of the Taub Center Welfare Policy Program and a faculty member in the School of Social Work, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, participated in a conference for the launching of the Social Work Lobby in the Knesset, an initiative of the past Minister of Welfare and Social Affairs, MK Meir Cohen. Participating in the conference were about twenty members of the Knesset and many social workers. The leader of the Labor Party, MK Merav Michaeli, spoke about the contribution of the Taub Center to an understanding of the factors that stand as obstacles in dealing with Israel’s many social issues.
