
Nachum Blass, Chair of the Taub Center Education Policy Program, and Taub Center Researcher Noam Zontag presented to the Mofet Institute on the labor market and education. Blass presented data on the breakdown of students in Israel according to sector, on class size and on teaching hours, while Zontag talked about remote work and the occupations that are threatened by computerization. According to Zontag, the possibility of working from home existed prior to the Covid-19 crisis, but the pandemic accelerated the phenomenon and validated it. “Currently, almost two years after the beginning of the crisis, there is a desire to expand the scope of working from home among both employees and employers.”
