In late January, the staff of the Taub Center Initiative on Early Childhood Development and Inequality met with senior staff of the Dialogue organization, one of the leading companies for organizational training and consulting in Israel, and presented recent Taub Center studies on early childhood. The researchers spoke about the importance of investing in young children, and about the high return on such investment. They also called attention to the impact of socioeconomic gaps on children’s development, and to the role of high-quality educational frameworks in reducing these disparities. “This is a perspective that I think should be brought before decision makers,” said Dialogue CEO Amnon Timmer, “It sparked quite a bit of thought that will evolve into practical effort, and we’ll continue the discussion in order to identify collaboration possibilities.”
