On September 6, Prof. Avi Weiss, Taub Center President, and Prof. Alex Weinreb, Taub Center Research Director, and MK Yoav Segalovich, Deputy Ministry of the Interior, discussed Prof. Weinreb’s study Youth Bulge, Violent Crime, and Shortages in the Israeli Arab Marriage Market.
At the meeting, trends in the Arab society were discussed as well as the youth bulge, gender gaps in education levels, and the long-term impact on the population. The Deputy Minister noted that the Taub Center study added a unique perspective on the subject and thanked the Center for the meeting.
