Roundup: 1 in 5 Israelis live in poverty: official report

One in five Israelis live in poverty, according to a report released by Israel’s National Insurance Institute on Wednesday. The annual report showed that 1.92 million Israelis, or 21 percent of the population, were regarded as poor in 2020, a slight decrease from 21.6 percent the previous year.
